Nalatta Furstoss was born and raised just outside of Bangkok, Thailand, where she first learned Thai cooking standing by her mother's side in the kitchen. At the age of 25, Nalatta moved to the U.S. where she continued her Thai cooking by making three meals a day for her three young boys. In Toms River, New Jersey, there was a lack of ethnic cuisine that she saw to be an opportunity to offer the town new bursts of flavor. Since the opening of her first restaurant in 2010, it became one of the highest reviewed in town and formed a guest list that created lines outside the door. She takes pride in her authentic flavors and a true pleasure in presenting them with a modern touch.
